CLAYTON – A 34 year-old man is facing criminal charges following the alleged theft of a vacuum cleaner.
Matthew James Stephens of Cleveland Road, Clayton reportedly stole a $2,200 Kirby vacuum from a relatives home on March 5. He later sold it on Facebook Marketplace.
Stephens was charged with felony larceny and felony obtaining property by false pretense. He was given a $20,000 bond.
Caught stealing a vacuum cleaner…. That sucks.
