LUCAMA, N.C. – While the sound of racing engines and the smell of burning rubber won’t be taking place at Southern National Motorsports Park this weekend, a different kind of race will be taking place – a race where victory is shared and empowerment takes center stage.

Following a successful event in 2025, the MUDGIRL run is returning to Southern National Motorsports Park on Saturday, April 25, and Sunday, April 26. Last year, thousands of women from across North Carolina participated in the event.

The primary mission of the MUDGIRL run is fighting breast cancer.

Since 2017, the Pink Army Foundation and the MUDGIRL community who participate in events or donate to the mission have donated over $554,000 to organizations fighting breast cancer. Their mission has expanded.

“This was a really cool event last year and we’re honored to be hosting MUDGIRL once again this year,” Southern National Motorsports Park track owner Michael Diaz said. “This is a great organization that does a lot not just fighting against cancer, but also to empower women. We know it’s going to be a great event once again this year.”

The MUDGIRL Run features multiple obstacles that challenge strength, agility, and willpower. The event consists of multiple obstacles, some fun, some challenging, and a lot of mud and dirt. From cargo pyramids to slides to carrying weights, and much more, there are sure to be everlasting memories created at Southern National Motorsports Park once again this weekend.

While participation for Saturday is sold out, there are still limited spots available for Sunday.
