During the raid at his McGee’s Crossroads area apartment, agents said they seized a dozen firearms, including a stolen gun and a Glock handgun that had been converted to a fully automatic handgun. Four automatic weapon conversion kits were located in the apartment along with a large undisclosed amount of cash.

Approximately 200 grams of hallucinogenic mushrooms was also found during Wednesday’s search warrant.

Vu was charged with five counts of possession of a weapon of mass destruction, possession of a stolen firearm, and felony possession with intent to manufacture sell or deliver a controlled substance.

Vu was confined in the Johnston County Detention Center under a $250,000 secured bond.

The investigation remains ongoing.

    • Housing has nothing to do with him being a criminal. He could’ve been living in a $800k neighborhood and he would be doing the same thing.

  1. $250,000 bond, this is a joke, right? This guy is already on probation, why would you give him only a $250,000 secured bond. It is clear these guns were not for his hobby, so we all know he was up to no good. I wonder how many shooting this guy was already involved in. It is clear all the LEO’s involved in this operation did a fantastic job to get this animal off the streets, but it is a shame the stupid judge does not see it that way. Again, I want to say to all the LEO’s involved, you did a great job and JOCO in thankful for your dedication and service.

  2. There are hundreds of school children just yards from there at the middle and elementary schools. This joker needs to stay out of circulation for a few years!

  3. Why a bond?!?! Lock his no good pos up and throw away the key!!! With the families in that complex, the children and schools there he needs to never see the light of day. Oh, and Happy Mother’s Day to his Mother, she has to be so proud of him.
