James Carlton “Jimmy” Earp, Jr., age 70, passed away October 20, 2022 at his home. Born June 19, 1952 in Wayne County he was a son of the late James C. and Ruby Rogers Earp, Sr.
After proudly serving his country in the United States Air Force, the Lord called Jimmy into the ministry. He spent the next 40 years ministering and touched many lives over his journey here on earth. Jimmy loved his family. His two daughters, Lynn and Pamela, were his world. He spent his entire life making sure they were happy and taken care of. His wife, Kay, was his constant companion for over 50 years. Jimmy’s pride and joy though, were his four grandchildren. They were the lights of his life and he enjoyed spending time with them and being there to support them any chance he got.
