Steve was born on November 5, 1975, in Smithfield, NC, and departed this life on April 6, 2022, at WakeMed Hospital. He was the son of the late Jettie Juanita Robertson and Steve Craft.
After his formal education in the Wake County Public School System, he stayed home and worked as a skilled laborer. Steve was a loving and caring person. He loved his family and friends. He enjoyed having fun by any means necessary. He enjoyed grilling, fishing, watching TV, and walking.
Steve leaves to mourn and cherish his memories his son Jocquell Harris of Louisburg, NC; one sister Barbara Ellis (Eddie) of Garner; two close friends Kathy and Curt; four siblings Mike, Mary, Francine, and Sherry; three uncles Marion Ellis (Marjorie) of Selma, NC, Harry Ellis of Philadelphia, PA, Bobby Ellis (Liz) of Charlotte, NC; nieces Shanekwa and Elizabeth; nephews Joshua and Maliek; great-nieces and great-nephews.
Special thanks to Zebbie Dee for taking Steve under his wings and giving him some life skills.
