Rain Causes Accidents, Flooding

Heavy rain caused minor flooding problems Saturday in parts of Johnston County. A Flash Flood Warning was issued for several hours but was allowed to expire.

Several weather-related traffic accidents were reported on Interstate 95 near Kenly.

Rain caused some minor flooding issues in the Princeton area.

A tree fell across Highway 42 West of Clayton between Government Road and Anna Drive knocking down power lines and blocking the roadway. A power outage was reported in the area. The tree struck one vehicle but no one was injured.
