Police Chief J.A. Hughes said, “I am proud of the hard work and dedication our officers perform on a daily basis. I’m also appreciative for the partnership we have with our neighboring state and local law enforcement agencies.”

“We will continue to relentlessly pursue the people responsible for bringing these toxic drugs into our town,” Chief Hughes told The Johnston County Report.

All ten suspects are facing felony narcotics charges. The names of the remaining suspects were not released pending their apprehension.

  1. Thank you, Selma PD, and all the other agencies involved for taking out the trash and making our streets a little safer. Drug dealers should rot in hell. Animals!

  2. I sure will be glad when law enforcement start locking up the people rich enough to supply Johnson County with drugs… These street people can’t afford it ..

  3. We used to do that is Smithfield until the Incompetent Town Council decimated the police department via voluntary ignorance.

  4. Our town needs to get back like it was before all the drug dealers decided to come here. Thank you to all of our law enforcement officers for all you do for us.

  5. Will the DA lock them up? Selma has always been trash and this is just a drop in the bucket. Wait until the New Target is on the news from constant theft.
