After 25 years with the Smithfield Fire Department, Captain Troy Byrd is hanging up his turnout gear.
A drop in reception and retirement celebration will be held on Monday, December 16th from 1:00pm to 4:00pm at the Smithfield Fire Department, located at 111 S. Fourth Street.

Captain Byrd’s last day on the job will be January 1, 2025.
