Two Injured In Two Vehicle Crash

SELMA – Two people were injured in a two vehicle accident shortly after 3:00pm Sunday on US Highway 70 in front of Bojangles.

Selma Police said the collision involved a black pickup and silver passenger car. The car overturned in the roadway injuring two people. Both were transported to the hospital by Johnston County EMS. No one in the truck was injured.

The Selma Fire Department responded and assisted with traffic control.

Both directions of Highway 70 were closed for nearly an hour before the roadway could be reopened.
