Shooting Victim In Critical Condition

SELMA – The Selma Police Department and NC State Bureau of Investigation responded to a shooting Friday night near the corner of W. Noble and Green Streets.

Selma Police Chief W.M. Thomas said the victim, whose name was not released, was transported to WakeMed and at last report was in critical condition.

Investigators have not released any details about a possible suspect or suspects. A possible motive was also not disclosed.
