Items Stolen From US 301 Yard Sale Vendor

FOUR OAKS – A vendor at the US 301 Yard Sale was the victim of a theft. A Four Oaks woman told authorities she rented a space on Highway 301 near Hannah Creek Road for the two-day event.

Sometime Friday night or early Saturday morning unknown individuals stole $4,490 in property including her tent, tables, chairs, inflatables, and miscellaneous items for the yard sale. Approximately $2,000 in DVD’s were among the items stolen.

The Johnston County Sheriff’s Office responded and is investigating the theft.
